Are you looking for Braun Electric Shavers? Welcome to BraunElectricShaverSite.com - Your source for Braun electric shaver information

When you use an electric shaver, are you usually disappointed with the shave you get?

The traditional blade type of razor will usually give a close and clean shave and it is very difficult for the electric shaver to live up to the traditional blade razor for a close shave.

But fortunately, Braun has developed three great electric shavers that will ensure that you will not be dashing off to work with tiny bits of paper stuck on your face due to having a very close shave with the razor blade! No more need for the blades or the cheap and nasty disposable razor thanks to Braun.

The very best electric shavers available today are the Braun Series 7 Shavers.

Two of the more popular Braun 7 Series Shavers are the 7-760cc and 7-790cc

These great razors will give you a close shave that is hard to find from any other of the electric shavers on the market today. A great feature of this model is its self-cleaning system which makes it very convenient and practical. Re-chargeable razors would usually need charging often but these Braun models have been developed with super long lasting charge.

Another of Braun’s super electric shavers is the Braun Series 1190 which, even though it is not as expensive as the Braun 1775CC, will still provide the clean and comfortable shave that Braun is famous for producing. This electric shaver is a great option if you would rather not spend the big bucks that you will need for one of the top end models.

The last in the three Braun models is the Braun Series 5570CC.  Whilst this model is not rated as highly as the previous two models, it is by no means an inferior electric shaver. It had been developed using the same technology and high standards that we have come to accept from the Braun brand name. In fact, which model you ultimately purchase could simply be a decision based on price and personal preference.

What to look for in a new Electric Shaver

Much like taking a bath or a shower, shaving is essential to maintaining good hygiene. However, some people turn what should be a simple and pleasant task into a difficult to get on with experience.

Take for instance, shaving. If you’re one those men who use disposable razors, do you ever take the time to consider how much money you’re spending on those razors? Because I guarantee you if you did, you’d take a close look at maybe switching to an electric razor.

For example, if you spend say 5 bucks for a bag of disposable razors per week, in a year you’ll have spent about $260. Oh, by the way, that money is spent for an unpleasant and sometimes quite painful experience. Why would anyone want to spend that kind of money for a product that you have to keep replacing day after day? Especially for something that you gain no kind of enjoyment from. Unless, of course, you’re a glutton for punishment.

If you’re considering switching to an electric razor, there are a couple of things you need to know before moving on:

There are basically two types of electric shavers

  • Foil shavers - which offer a close and smooth shave
  • Rotary Shavers – for men who prefer to shave every two to three days and it’s better for tricky areas of the face

Some things to look for:

  • Price – This is one area you don’t want to be stingy on. Avoid those cheap and off-brand models. They’ll make you wish you’d stayed with the disposable razors. If your budget won’t allow you to splurge, you can always opt for a good quality brand such as Braun, except you can buy a model with less features.
  • Adjustment period – Allow yourself enough time to adjust to your new shaver. Most men require about 25 to 30 days to adjust to a new electric shaver. Just make sure when you buy yours you get it from a manufacturer that provides a least a 30 day warranty.
  • Noise and comfort – Make sure you check the noise level of the shaver is something you’re comfortable with and it will glide smoothly across your face.
  • Quick charge vs. long life – Try to get a shaver that offers both options. That way if it quits on you in the middle of shaving, you won’t have to wait an hour or so to finish shaving.
  • Cordless shavers vs. corded – This option is totally an individual taste. As for me, I prefer the convenience of being able to walk around the house and do other things while shaving cordless electric shaver and not have to be stuck in one spot when I could be getting the coffee going or something else and not skip a beat.
