i know its an old debate but things have changed and improvements have been made. I cant use a manual razor, i prefer electric ones. Which is better a foil or rotary. i DONT want the closest shave as longs as it doesnt irritate or burn my skin. which is better

I am thinking about buying a foil type self cleaning shaver(not to get confused with the rotary style 3 head shavers)and i know that you can buy new blades for it. how ofted do you need to change them?

Im 16 and recently started growing facial hair. Right now i'm using a philips 6600 electric shaver(rotary). I dont like the rotary much and it irritates my skin( i get rashes when i apply aftershave right after using it.) am thinking of trying out a foil one. Which is better for regular shaving? foil or rotary?(3 times a week).which brand is best? ive heard that braun and remington shavers are really good. is it worth buying braun shavers cause the new self cleaning ones range from 0-0?
